AVS Assam Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT – Arts & Science)
Educational Qualification:
- PG Degree in relevant subject with 55% marks in Graduation & Post Graduation
- B.Ed. degree from NCTE recognized institution
- Must be proficient in English medium teaching
- Must be able to teach two additional subjects
Shortlisting Criteria (Marks):
- 100 marks – PG Percentage
- 100 marks – Graduation Marks
- 100 marks – HS Marks
- 100 marks – B.Ed. Marks
2. Graduate Teacher – Arts / Arts English / Science / Mathematics
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation with Major/Hons in relevant subject with 55% marks
- B.Ed. degree from NCTE recognized institution
- Must teach in English medium
- Must have ability to teach 1 additional subject + 1 language (Bodo/Assamese/Bengali as per region)
Shortlisting Criteria (Marks):
- 100 marks – Graduation
- 100 marks – HS
- 100 marks – B.Ed.
3. Graduate Teacher – Hindi
Educational Qualification:
- Pravin/Ratna in Hindi + Graduation OR BA with Hindi with 55% marks
- B.Ed. / Parangat (accepted for Hindi)
