The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a fresh recruitment notification for 35 Member posts in the State and District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions. This recruitment offers a key opportunity for experienced professionals to serve in consumer justice bodies under the Government of Assam.
As per the notification, the recruitment includes 1 post in the Assam State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Non-Judicial) and 34 posts in District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions. Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Band–4 (Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 with Grade Pay).
The online application process will begin on 18 December 2025, and the last date to apply is 16 January 2026. Applications must be submitted through the official APSC website at apsc.nic.in.

Candidates should possess a regular graduation degree from a UGC-recognized university along with minimum 10 years of professional experience in relevant fields such as law, consumer affairs, administration, finance, management, engineering, technology, or public service.
