CM Jibon Prerana Scheme 2025: The Government of Assam launched the Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme on 3rd November 2025. Implemented by the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, the scheme aims to support fresh graduates during their transition from education to employment.
Under this scheme, eligible 2025 graduates will receive ₹2,500 per month for 12 months, directly credited to their bank accounts.
Therefore online applications are invited from the fresh graduate from Assam though the DIDS portal on or before 30th November, 2025.

Objectives of CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme
The scheme aims to:
- Support fresh graduates in their job search.
- Encourage youth to prepare for competitive exams.
- Motivate young professionals towards self-employment and entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Criteria for Jibon Prerana Scheme
1. Residential Requirement
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
2. Educational Qualification
- Must be a fresh graduate (2025 pass-out).
- Degree must be from a Government or Public Institution of State or Central Government located in Assam.
- Not Eligible:
- Students from private institutions
- Students from open universities
3. Employment Status
- The applicant must be currently unemployed.
Exclusions (Not Eligible Categories)
The following candidates cannot apply:
- Children of government employees
(Exception: Children of Class IV employees are eligible) - Children of Ministers and MLAs
- Children of government-registered contractors
- Children of parents earning more than ₹10 lakh annually
How to Apply for Jibon Prerana Scheme 2025?
Applicants must apply online through the Digital Infrastructure for DBT Scheme (DIDS) portal.
They may follow these steps to apply online:
- Visit the official website of DIDS Assam Portal: https://dids.assam.gov.in/.
- Click on the Login Button.
- A new webpage will open, Click on Register.
- Enter all required details and complete registration.
- After registration, click on Online Application Form and log in.
- Fill in the necessary information and upload required documents.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the submitted application.
